Third annual QLIF congress

Improving Sustainability in Organic and Low Input Food Production Systems

The third annual scientific congress of the QLIF project "Improving Sustainability in Organic and Low Input Food Production Systems" will take place on March 20 to 23, 2007 at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart.

The congress will be organized in parallel with the 9th Scientific Conference on Organic Agriculture in the German speaking countries, entitled "Between tradition and globalisation".

Training and exchange workshop

Measuring food quality: concepts, methods and challenges

The QLIF project is also conducting a training and exchange workshop aimed at PhD students and junior scientists/post-doctoral researchers.

The aim of the two-day workshop is to get familiar with the concept of food quality both by theoretical knowledge transfer and training of skills.

The workshop is to be held 12-14 February 2007, Driebergen, the Netherlands

Research mediation at BioFach

The revision of organic standards, statistics and emerging trends, trade and retailing are only some of the issues that European research project will present and discuss at coming BioFach 2007. The event is held in Nuremberg, Germany 15 – 18 February.

Congress on grain legumes

In November 2007 the Integrated Project on Grain Legumes will conduct a dissemination conference entitled "Integrative approach for sustainable agriculture". The conference is to be held in the Lisbon Congress Centre, Portugal. It is possible to submit papers until 31 December 2006. More
