CORE Organic workshop on 29 May 2006:

How to increase cooperation in transnational OFF research?

The aim of the workshop is to bring together interested scientists and others of various expertise areas to give their input for the following purposes as part of the coordination project:

  1. To identify the most important research topics of different subject areas in joint transnational organic food and farming (OFF) research

  2. To form ways for collaboration and coordination of OFF research in future in Europe

  3. To find ways for improved transnational use of research facilities of OFF research

Structure of workshop

  • Review of existing OFF research topics and facilities in participating countries

  • Open space and/or Knowledge bourse in order to identify the most important research topics by different subject areas (Farming systems; Animal husbandry; Crop husbandry; Soil; Environmental aspects; Food systems; Values, standards, certification and Knowledge management) in joint transnational OFF research

  • Discussion opener(s): To form ways for collaboration and coordination of OFF research in future in Europe and to find ways for improved use of research facilities of OFF research

    Practical information

    The workshop is held on 29 May 2006, 1.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. at Odense Congress Centre in Denmark.

    There are no fees for participating in the workshop, but cost for coffee and lunch (37 €) etc are to be covered by the participants. Practical information can be directed to the Congress Secretariat.
